The CARNET User Conference CUC2025: From Inspiration to Action was held in Rovinj, bringing together over 800 teachers, school principals, scientists, and education experts. This year’s conference focused on the application of artificial intelligence in education, with a special emphasis on the BrAIn project – an initiative that places Croatia among the leading countries worldwide in introducing AI into primary and secondary schools.

The BrAIn project has introduced curricula on artificial intelligence for extracurricular activities and elective subjects, which are being experimentally implemented in schools across Croatia. The goal is to develop critical thinking, digital competencies, and an understanding of the ethical challenges posed by AI. The conference showcased practical examples from classrooms, such as developing virtual assistants, analyzing data on renewable energy sources, and creative projects that connect AI with ecological themes and inclusion.

CroAI, as a partner in the BrAIn project, contributed to the development of curricula and educational materials that help teachers and students apply artificial intelligence in practice.

The conference provided an opportunity to exchange ideas and best practices, reaffirming the importance of collaboration and innovation in education. Croatia continues to lead in integrating artificial intelligence into its education system, laying the foundation for a future shaped by technology.
