CroAI at the Horizon Europe Innovation Summit

Zagreb hosted the Horizon Europe Innovation Summit, bringing together over 150 experts and leaders from eight countries, with strong support from representatives of the Croatian Government and the City of Zagreb. Through panel discussions and working sessions, the event addressed topics such as open science, the development and importance of national digital infrastructure, and the role of cities, regardless of size, in actively shaping innovative solutions.

The CroAI team was represented by Executive Director Lorena Barić and Chief of Finance Lidija Đukes, who participated in discussions, connected with representatives of European organizations, and exchanged experiences with colleagues from various countries.

The summit concluded with a matchmaking session in which more than 50 experts collaborated on project ideas for future Horizon Europe calls. We are glad that our representatives were part of this process and that, as a community, we contributed to the dialogue on the future of European innovation.
