European AI Forum
The European AI Forum is a platform that aims to set the agenda on how AI is approached in Europe, both in terms of policy and entrepreneurship.
On the last day of Croatia’s Presidency over the Council of the EU (June 2020) CroAI organized and co-founded a virtual conference on AI, the 1st European AI Forum. The forum is co-founded by CroAI together with KI Verband from Germany and HUB France IA from France.
Following the success of the first Forum, the event now takes place regularly every 6 months, hosted in the country that presides over the Council of the EU.
The second edition of the European AI Forum aims to check in with policy makers in Brussels and Member States to examine new developments relating to AI in terms of digital and green policies and business uptake.

About the 1st European AI Forum
The first European AI Forum was launched in June and saw over 700 registrations from 35 countries in Europe and the rest of the world. Through our three panels, which examined AI in the contexts of recovery, regulation and infrastructure, we managed to show that when we put our heads together we can bring together Brussels policy makers, Member State officials and European entrepreneurs to share a vision of our mutual future and to see how we could jointly shape it.
The first Forum had the pleasure of hearing from Ms. Margrethe Vestager, Commission Executive Vice-President, Mr. Maroš Šefčovič, Commission Vice-President and Commissioner for Interinstitutional Relations and Foresight, Cedric O, the French State Secretary for Digital, Dorothee Bär, German Parliamentary State Secretary for Transport and Digital Infrastructure, among others.
